LGE August 2012 At the Business Design Centre, the London Garments Expo in association with Profile attracted more trade visitors. Exhibitors at the expo received buyers ranging from all type of fashion retailers. On Wednesday 29th, the show was opened by Philip Walker, the Buying and Sourcing director of New Look. Phillip Walker cut the first ribbon at London Garments Expo at 11am, opening the trade show officially.

This year’ show presented an array of different exhibitors, from manufacturers to up and coming designers. Exhibitors travelled from all around the world. It varied from India, Bangladesh, China, the Mauritius, Portugal, France and the UK. 

The gala on the 30th of August gave the opportunity to exhibitors and trade professionals to network. Many of them had the chance to have their garments showcased at the evening catwalk organised by the London Garments Expo in association with Profile.

Sponsors for this year event ranged from Tropics Magazine, an online fashion and lifestyle publication to Davines and Illamasqua, hair and cosmetics brands that provided their products to be used backstage during the fashion catwalks.
